Dr. Mary Ferguson-Pare is very pleased and excited to announce the launch of The Nursing Channel.
The Nursing Channel uses a variety of multimedia formats such as video, audio and photography to capture stories related to nursing and healthcare. Following many months of planning, collaboration and teamwork the Nursing Channel has launched with 3 rich and diverse programs. Significant investment in cutting edge tool for nurses: NurseONE
The Honourable Tony Clement, minister of health, announced federal funding of $8.1 million to launch and maintain the NurseONE web portal
(www.nurseone.ca) NurseONE provides nurses with access to quality, up-to-date information and research to support the delivery of effective, evidence-based care. In addition, nurses can manage their careers and connect with colleagues and health-care experts with the click of a mouse.
